Francesco de Carlo

Francesco De Carlo, TV host, writer, and radio personality, is one of Italy’s most established stand-up comedians and the first Italian comic to tour internationally in English. His one-hour Netflix special, Cose Di Questo Mondo, is streaming in 190 countries, and he has hosted multiple shows for major networks including Rai, Sky, and Comedy Central. In 2025, he starred in the prime-time series In & Out – Niente di serio on TV8 and launched his first U.S. tour, Live in America. He voiced Mr. Shark in DreamWorks’ The Bad Guys films and is the author of La mia Brexit (Bompiani), a book about his experience in the UK. Francesco has worked in 17 countries and performed at major comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Johannesburg, and Montreal. He performs regularly at the legendary Comedy Cellar in New York and has opened for Matteo Lane at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, as well as in major theatres across Europe and the U.S. His 2025 Italian tour, the Mortacci Tour, sold out theatres nationwide, drawing nearly 40,000 attendees.
